Prerequisites for Secure Folder in WSP (IIS7/IIS8)

The following Prerequisites apply to websites on DotNetPanel (IIS7) that wish to use Secure Folders.

• Integrated Windows Authentication must be disabled
• Basic Authentication must be disabled
• Must use the Integrated Pipeline for your website

 

If you are trying to use secure folders on a directory that you have enabled as a virtual/application directory, please make sure to set the settings above on the virtual directory itself under the Home Folder and Extension tabs.
